About the LL.M. in Construction Law, Contracts & Arbitration
Course Structure
The programme is structured across three trimesters with core courses, electives, a dissertation, and an international research tour.
Trimester 1 | Research Methodology (3 credits); Advanced Contractual Interpretation (2 credits); Arbitration in the Indian Context (2 credits); Construction Law & Dynamics of Contractual Relationships in India (2 credits). |
Trimester 2 | Law and Justice in a Globalised World (3 credits); Practice of FIDIC Contracts (2 credits); Delay, Disruption and Damages (2 credits); Leading Evidence in a Construction Arbitration (2 credits); International Research Tour (2 credits). |
Trimester 3 | Comparative Public Law (3 credits); Dissertation/Capstone Project (5 credits) with supervised research; Optional apprenticeships. |
International Research Tour | Mandatory 1–2 week exposure abroad to arbitration hubs, legal institutions, and foreign law firms. |
