
Sivadath Madhu Menon is an Aviation Lawyer and Consultant, with a Master 2 LL.M. in International Aviation Law from Université Toulouse 1 Capitole, France, and a BBA LL.B. (Hons) from the University of Calicut, India.
During his time as a consultant with Grayspace Law and Policy Consulting, Belgium, his professional experience included advising clients on airport acquisitions, providing strategic counsel to aviation sector stakeholders on operational matters, and ensuring regulatory compliance with Civil Aviation Authorities in the European Union. He has also served as an Editor for the Indian Journal of Air and Space Law and as a jury member for the Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Air and Space Law and Policy Essay Competition, jointly organized by NALSAR University of Law and the Aerospace and Aviation Lawyers Association of India.
With a dual passion for aviation and alternative dispute resolution, particularly mediation, Mr. Menon has led several academic and capacity-building initiatives through Lex Erudites, an ed-tech platform he co-founded. Through this initiative, he has fostered socio-legal discourse, advanced academic scholarship, and overseen the publication of an annual e-journal.
He also served as Co-Chair for the ‘Effective Citizenship’ domain under the Sustainability Leadership and Agency Through Education (S.L.A.T.E.) Program, a collaborative project by St. Theresa’s College, Cochin, the Office of a Member of the Kerala Legislative Assembly, and funded by Bharat Petroleum. Through interactive offline sessions and engaging online micro-courses, the program promoted critical thinking, civic engagement, social responsibility, and global awareness, benefiting over 12,000 students and teachers in Government and Aided Schools across Kerala.
