Mr. Sandesh Jadhav is the Global Data Protection Officer at Wipro, where he leads privacy and data protection initiatives across over 60 countries. A distinguished expert in data privacy, cybersecurity, and technology law, Mr. Jadhav brings over two decades of cross-sectoral experience spanning telecom, IT services, aviation, and consulting.
He has held senior global roles at organizations such as Capgemini, Oman Air, JP Morgan, and Moore Stephens International, and is widely regarded for his techno-legal insights and enterprise-wide regulatory compliance strategies. His academic credentials include degrees in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering (B.E.), Law (LL.M.), Economics (M.A.), and an MBA, underscoring his rare ability to bridge law, technology, and business.
Mr. Jadhav has served on various international industry forums and is a frequent speaker at major events such as the ETCISO Privacy Summits and the CIO Strategy Congress. His work has focused on operationalizing privacy by design, managing cross-border data transfers, and implementing regulatory frameworks such as the EU GDPR and India’s DPDP Act, 2023.
As Honorary Professor at DAU School of Law, Mr. Jadhav plays a key role in shaping the university’s flagship executive and postgraduate offerings in Data Privacy, AI Governance, and Technology Law. He also chairs the School’s Advisory Committee for this domain, contributing to curriculum innovation, industry-academia collaboration, and strategic thought leadership.
