The Dhirubhai Ambani University – School of Law proudly announces the launch of its new One-Year LL.M (Regular) Programme. This programme is uniquely designed for working legal professionals who seek to combine academic rigour with practical exposure and global engagement. Spread across three trimesters, the LL.M blends weekday core classes, weekend block teaching for electives, supervised research assignments, a mandatory international research tour, and a dissertation project. With a strong focus on both intellectual depth and industry relevance, the programme aims to fill critical gaps in India’s postgraduate legal education.

The programme is structured to provide a balance between academic intensity and flexibility for working professionals. It follows a trimester system and includes core courses, electives, an international research tour, and a dissertation. The total programme credits are 28, ensuring compliance with UGC norms while adding distinctive components that enhance global exposure and research outcomes.

Programme Structure

Admissions & Eligibility

The programme is open to law graduates (LL.B. 3 or 5 years) with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates). Preference will be given to legal professionals with work experience, including advocates, in-house counsel, judicial aspirants, and legal officers.

Admission process

  1. Fill the online application form with your Statement of Purpose and CV.
  2.  Appear for the National Level Entrance Examination that will test your knowledge in compulsory subjects of
    LL.B.
  3. Personal interaction – If shortlisted, you would be invited for a personal interaction with the relevant faculty for
    your stream of choice at Dhirubhai Ambani University – School of Law.

Note:
The LL.M. Programme offered by the Dhirubhai Ambani University – School of Law is fully compliant with Bar Council of India (BCI) guidelines. The programme fees include a mandatory 1–2 week International Research Tour to leading regulatory bodies, legal institutions, and technology hubs abroad.

All classes are conducted on-site at the Gandhinagar campus, and the programme is non-residential; hostel and mess facilities are not included in the fees, and students may make their own accommodation arrangements.
