
Mr. Ratan K. Singh is a Senior Advocate, internationally recognized arbitrator, and a leading authority on construction law and dispute resolution. With a distinguished legal career spanning over 25 years, Mr. Singh is a pre-eminent figure in international and domestic arbitration, handling high-stakes disputes across diverse sectors including construction, infrastructure, mining, engineering, power, and commercial law.
Mr. Singh is the Founder and Chairman of the Society of Construction Law – India and Director of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators – India Branch. He has been appointed as arbitrator in hundreds of complex disputes, both domestic and international, under institutional rules such as the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) and Indian Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ICADR). His practice reflects an exceptional breadth—from trial and appellate advocacy before the Supreme Court of India and various High Courts, to chairing arbitration panels in multi-jurisdictional commercial disputes.
A graduate in Geology (M.Sc.) and Law (LL.B., Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi), Mr. Singh has combined interdisciplinary expertise with legal precision to resolve infrastructure and engineering disputes with both technical and commercial complexity.
