Hasit Seth

Mr. Hasit Seth is a seasoned counsel and arbitrator with a career spanning 25+ years, spread over disputes practice in US and India, and across a wide range of practice areas such as arbitration, construction law, technology & intellectual property law, patent-tech licensing deals and corporate law. He also has a technical educational background, holding a B.Sc. in Computer Science from North Maharashtra University, along with being a Gold Medallist while completing his first Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the Mumbai University.

Mr. Hasit Seth has significant law & business experience in multiple jurisdictions and settings, including US law firms, Indian courts, law firms and US MNCs. He is also an experienced arbitrator for complex commercial disputes with training from Harvard Law School in negotiation (PILPON) and mediation.

Having completed a second Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree at the Franklin Pierce Law Center (FLPC) (now part of the University of New Hampshire), he worked for 5 years in two US law firms in the fields of patent litigation and prosecution, before returning to India. Apart from being an independent counsel, he’s a dual qualified in India and New York. Additionally he’s also a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK.
